August was a month of food, food to eat and food for thought!
The Wessex Mead Young Chef cooked at Red or White Restaurant.
Cakes were made for a cake sale at the Beach Party in Trowbridge Park in aid of Shelterbox.
We practiced Golf at the Driving Range in Bradford on Avon, and followed the Medieval heritage trail in Devizes.

Despite the changeable weather, Wessex Mead Rotary has been as busy as ever this month. We had Archery, Pub of the Month and the West Wilts Show.

March started with our annual Bavarian Night. Always well supported, I volunteered to help cook the sausages in the kitchen. We were so busy but I'm pleased to say we sold almost all the bratwurst and bockwurst. Final figures are to be confirmed, so if you attended the Bavarian Night, watch this space!
